The history of polymer and color engineering faculty
The education and research in two important fields of polymer and color engineering was pioneered since 1974 in Iran by Tehran Polytechnique, now called Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT). The intensification of these activities at AUT for supplying the country’s growing demand to specialists in polymer and color engineering, finally led to the establishment of first Iranian corresponding faculty in 1990. So far, more than 2000 bachelors (BSc), 1000 masters (MSc) and 200 PhDs were graduated from faculty of polymer and color engineering of Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT).
Now, Dr. Naser Mohammadi is the dean of faculty, while the following faculty members had previously managed the department:
